What is rooted university?

Rooted University is a 4-part discipleship pathway to help you grow in your faith and connect you to Lifehouse Church through serving. Rooted University runs periodically throughout the year so be sure to register below for the next cycle that begins!

What to expect

Rooted University is broken into four classes over four Sunday mornings in a month at 9am. It is encouraged that people attend all four classes.

Rooted 101 - Believe

This class aims at helping you discover essential doctrines of the Christian faith. It’s not enough to know what you believe but you need to understand why you believe it.

ROOTED 201 - belong

This class aims to help you discover the importance of the church and why being part of a community is an essential part of your spiritual growth. In addition, students will learn about the history of Lifehouse and what church membership is all about.

rooted 301 - become

Jesus wasn’t interested in people just coming to church and doing a bunch of church activities. He’s after something more- our conformity to His image! This class will help you understand the importance of following Jesus and teach you essential spiritual disciplines to help you become like Jesus.

rooted 401 - Be empowered

This class aims to help you see the importance of serving and using your gifts for God’s glory. You are God’s workmanship (Eph. 2:10), and you have a purpose! Through teaching, taking a spiritual gifts test, and seeing ways that you can serve at Lifehouse, be ready to be empowered to serve.
